For my oil pastel choice painting, I chose an opossum because I'm a crazy person and I think they're cute. I used texture to create a fur on the opossum. I used mainly a neutral color scheme. The bright red contrasts against the sky and leaves. Everything is very balanced. I used the space well by balancing where I put leaves around the main focus of the painting. Overall I do like this painting. I think I did really well on creating fur with different lines such as thick and thin ones.
