The painting I drew was based on a photo I took out at my uncle's house. I like the texture of the sky. I didn't want to just blend all the color in but instead, I wanted the painting to seem as if it was moving. The color scheme is mainly cool colors. I think the contrast of the red flag against the blue sky is nice. I think the balance is good as well. I have everything laid out nicely. I believe I could have done better with the proportions in the painting since the road doesn't get smaller. I do however think the trees in the painting help with space and seeing what's up close and what's further away. Lastly, I believe I have good value in my painting. I have very light colors in the sky and a few clouds and darker colors in the grass, trees, and sky. Overall I think I did a decent job on my painting,
